DANZA, Center for the Arts was established with the mission to provide expert training to students in a positive, professional environment. A gradual reopening of our dance studio has begun. We are starting with a limited capacity schedule, and within the year will grow to incorporate more classes. We are currently offering both virtual classes and in-person classes.

Class offerings vary by level. At this time, only enrolled students are allowed in the building while classes are taking place. The true purpose of arts education is not necessarily to create more professional dancers or artists. It's to create more complete human beings who are critical thinkers, who have curious minds, who can lead productive lives.

Enrollment is generally divided into a school year of a 34 week session and a six week summer session.
Tuition is based on the number of class hours per week within each session, holidays are factored in, and tuition remains the same regardless of cancelled classes.
By registering for classes, families agree they are liable for the full tuition amount, including any late charges, and fees.

At this time, there are virtual and some in person classes available.
Virtual classes currently live-streamed in Central Time Zone through Zoom.
The Children's Program offers formal, quality training year-round to students ranging from ages 3-16.
The Children's Program requires a placement class, and a year long commitment.
Students will then be assigned a level and schedule.
DANZA follows a graded syllabus under the renowned ABT curriculum.
Advancement to each continuous level is decided by teacher and school director with evaluation in class throughout the year.

Report
DANZA believes dance education should be part of the required school curriculum beginning at the elementary age.
When arts classes are cut, students are stripped of exploring and developing their own creativity, taking them that much longer to manifest their personality confidently and comfortably.
We feel dance is particularly influencing to children who otherwise would have not been given the opportunity.
There are many of these young people who are naturally talented, but lack of exposure prevents them from realizing their abilities.
