Silhouette Dance Company is an award winning dance studio in North Texas that is excited to offer a wide range of dance genres to a variety of clients. SDC wants to bring the art of dance to a unique and creative level while at the same time making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed in the studio. Our goal is to help you begin a new passion or revive an old one while staying fit and having fun at the same time.

Ashley Ness is the owner and artistic director of Silhouette Dance Company, founded in 2009.
She is a committed dance teacher, choreographer and performer that has a passion for sharing her love of dance to people of all ages.
Beginning her dance training at the age of 2, Ashley has been surrounded by dance her whole life.
She trained under Michelle Davis for 12 years in tap, ballet, jazz and drill team.
During her high school years, she was a member of the state and national champion Pure Gold Dance Team at Boswell High School.
She is a committed dance teacher, choreographer and performer that has a passion for sharing her love of dance to people of all ages.

Our 4,000 square foot, 2 room dance studio is equipped with state of the art audio equipment, floating wood floors and cameras in each room that feed live footage to the lobby for families to watch their students during class.
We have a comfortable lobby area to sit and relax while you wait and a study hall area for our students to do homework or other schoolwork.
Our brand new Denton Studio location is at 5800 I35 North, Suite 303, Denton, TX 76207.
This two room dance studio is 5200SF and has a floating dance floor, two restrooms, two changing rooms, a SDC Dance Shop, Pre-K classrooms and a comfortable lobby with seating and plenty of parking.
We have a comfortable lobby area to sit and relax while you wait and a study hall area for our students to do homework or other schoolwork.

New! (Denton & Decatur Locations) - Upper Level Ballet Instructor: Looking for a mature and experienced upper level ballet instructor for our Decatur location for our 2019-2020 dance year.
The right person for this job must have a love for dance and kids and have experience working in upper level ballet (ages 8-18) and also have pointe experience.
They must be organized, timely, and professional in all they do.
