Ballet Classes
Our Ballet program teaches traditional techniques with emphasis on posture, grace, and technical precision. Students learn foundational positions, barre work, and center combinations while developing musicality and performance skills. Classes are available for all levels from beginner to advanced dancers.
Hip Hop Workshops
Contemporary Hip Hop instruction focuses on rhythm, body isolation, and freestyle expression. Our certified instructors teach current trends while emphasizing proper technique and injury prevention. Classes include warm-up drills, choreography segments, and improvisation exercises for ages 6+.
Acro Training
Acro classes combine dance and gymnastics elements to develop flexibility, strength, and coordination. Students progress through skill levels mastering cartwheels, walkovers, and aerials while maintaining proper alignment. Safety-focused instruction ensures proper progression for all ability levels.
Summer Intensive
Annual summer program offering specialized training in multiple dance styles. Participants receive technique classes, choreography workshops, and performance preparation from industry professionals. Amanda Heine
Co-Director
Amanda has taught dance since 2006 and directed award-winning teams. She served as DDCA Membership Director and certified performance judge. With 15+ years of competitive dance experience, she brings expertise in technique and choreography to Legacy Dance.
Ciera Hensley
Co-Director
Ciera has danced professionally for 20+ years and taught in Colorado studios. She specializes in Tap and Ballet instruction. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity and personal growth, having developed multiple successful student performers and instructors.
Heather Richardson
Acro Instructor
Heather teaches Acro and Ballet with 15+ years of dance experience. A certified yoga instructor since 2019, she focuses on safe progressions and body awareness. She brings expertise in both dance technique and injury prevention to her classes.
Maressa Milat
Ballet Department Lead
Maressa has danced for 22 years with advanced training in pointe work. She leads our Ballet department with experience from Thunderbird Dance Camp and DDCA All-State teams. Her teaching emphasizes technical excellence and artistic expression.
Hailey Dambacher
Tap & Jazz Instructor
Hailey holds a Dance degree from Muhlenberg College and teaches multiple styles. With experience choreographing for college and studio productions, she brings contemporary techniques and performance expertise to her Tap and Jazz classes.
