At PSDA we believe in creating a safe space for self expression and boundless creativity. We aim to cultivate self confidence, positive body image, and a sense of community within our students, whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned dancer. PSDA is the premier dance academy in Pagosa Springs, CO offering dance instruction for all ages. Our recently remodeled space sits in the historic downtown area with two spacious studios where our classes run year round.
We offer training in all styles of dance including classical ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, combo, tap, acrobatics, ballroom and more. Classes are lead by our highly qualified staff who strive to empower and inspire students through the art of dance. My daughters are so lucky to have Casey as their dance teacher and role model. One of them even chose Casey as her best example of a leader for a leadership speech contest.
I couldn't ask for a more positive role model for my girls. It's also a huge benefit that dancing is such a fun and healthy thing to do.

When I first began teaching dance in 2016, I danced in a tiny, windowless studio with only a handful of students.
I never imagined that our dance family would grow to nearly 200 in our first two years.
My journey as a dance instructor was born out of a passion to mentor and inspire young women through the arts.
Growing up, I struggled with poor self-esteem and a decade-long battle with an eating disorder.
When I discovered dance at the late age of 17, I found a release, a means of expressing myself without using words, and a new sense of confidence.
