Ballet Classes

Katie Anderson
Director/Owner/Teacher/Company Choreographer
With 40+ years of dance experience, Katie trained at University of Georgia and Athens School of Ballet. She has taught in Madison for 30+ years and is a National Board Certified retired English teacher with extensive choreography credits for local theater and charity events.
Marie Hayes
Teacher/Lead Competition Choreographer
A former POG Competition Company member, Marie holds a BA in Dance Pedagogy from Brenau University. She studied in Europe and choreographs award-winning routines while teaching classes and preparing dancers for regional competitions.
Larkin Kelly
Modern Teacher/Company Choreographer
Larkin danced competitively through high school and earned a dance minor from University of Georgia. With experience in contemporary and aerial dance, she brings expertise from UGA's CORE Contemporary Dance Company to her modern classes and choreography.
Chelsea Harney
Tap Teacher/Company Choreographer
Chelsea holds a Physical Education degree from UGA and has performed with Tap Dawgs. She teaches and choreographs for Dance FX while bringing professional tap expertise to POG's competition team and technique-focused classes.
Leslie Watson
Teacher
A POG alumna with multiple platinum awards, Leslie holds a Music Education degree from UGA. She teaches classes and choreographs for competition while balancing her role as a stay-at-home mom to her daughter Mary Wells.

Placements are based on age as of September 1 with options ranging from Creative Movement (ages 3-4) to advanced technique classes.
