The Dance

Founded in 1990, The Dance has been dedicated to providing quality dance education in a structured, caring, and positive environment. Our studio emphasizes safe teaching methods and proper technique across all dance disciplines, ensuring age-appropriate instruction for students aged 18 months to adults. With a team of experienced instructors holding college degrees or actively pursuing them, we combine professional expertise with dynamic teaching approaches to inspire and challenge dancers. Our facility features air-conditioned studios with floating wood dance floors and a dancewear boutique offering high-quality apparel from industry leaders like Body Wrappers and So Danca. We produce two annual professional performancesa holiday show in December and a year-end production in Junealongside a performance/competition team that participates in regional events.

Recognized as the Favorite Dance Studio in the Inland Empire by the Press Enterprise readers in 2021, 2022, and 2025, we remain committed to fostering a love of dance through patient instruction and creative opportunities. Our programs include classical ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, acro, and specialized classes for young children and adults. Located in Riverside, California, we serve dancers from beginner to advanced levels, offering private lessons, Saturday classes, and adult dance opportunities. Our philosophy centers on creating a positive and fun learning environment where students develop technical skills and confidence. Through our dancewear boutique, we provide convenient access to essential gear, including leotards, tights, and costumes, with volume discounts for groups.
